Dyson AirStraightener Straightener
Dyson AirStraight straightener.
It boasts of advanced technology that allows you to straighten wet hair without using extreme temperatures.
It features intelligent heat control: a glass bead thermistor measures the airflow temperature up to 16 times per second to prevent heat damage and preserve hair’s natural shine. This data is sent to a microprocessor that controls the heating elements, ensuring the airflow never exceeds the required temperature.
Inside is a 27mm Hyperdimium motor that’s small and lightweight, yet powerful enough to generate the amount of airflow needed to dry and straighten wet hair at the same time.
The 13-blade impeller spins at up to 106,000rpm, forcing over 11.9 litres of air per second through the machine, which generates up to 3.5kPa of air pressure to dry and straighten your hair.
This product has three modes: “Wet”, “Dry” and “Cool”. The “Wet” and “Dry” modes are pre-set with specific heat and airflow combinations for best results. In “Wet” mode, users can choose from three heat settings: <80°C (175°F), 100°C (212°F) and 115°C (239°F).
In “Dry” mode, choose between <100°C (212°F) or 130°C (266°F), or top-up "Boost" mode at 130°C.
The airflow control has two speed settings, low and high airflow, as well as cold shot and root drying modes.
