Car crashes into building in Metairie business district

The scariest moment. I’m right outside of Quick Notary on Veterans Boulevard in Metairie. As you can see behind me, there’s a long road to recovery after a car crashed into a building this morning. Check out this exclusive security camera footage from just before 9am. You can see a woman pull into the parking lot, step on the gas instead of the brake and crash into the building. Okay, so now we can get the car back on track. You know, this happens all the time. You know, this is an accident. You call it an accident. That’s what’s left at Quick Notary on West William David Parkway, and good news for veterans. The owner says the store hadn’t even opened yet and no one was hurt. The neighbors go to the nail salon. He says he heard a loud explosion and the police arrived a few minutes later. The owner says he realized it could have been a lot worse, but he’s grateful. Thank goodness. You know, the most devastating thing for me was the girl who was the culprit. She’s, like I said, shaken up. AN

A vehicle crashed into a business in Metairie Tuesday morning. The accident happened at Quick Notary at 1035 Veterans Boulevard. The store owner said the accident happened before the store opened and no one was injured. According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, a woman was driving a vehicle that crashed into the store. JPSO says the woman is not suspected of being intoxicated.
Metairie, Louisiana —
A vehicle crashed into a business in Metairie Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at Quik Notary, located at 1035 Veterans Boulevard.
The store’s owner said the incident happened before the store opened and that no one was injured.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said a woman was driving a vehicle when the accident occurred and crashed into the store.
The woman was not suspected to be intoxicated, according to JPSO.
