Los Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout and his wife Jessica Cox have welcomed their second child.
The MLB star made the announcement on Instagram on Wednesday, July 10, alongside a photo of his 3-year-old son, Beckham, holding the newborn.
“Here comes our little brother! Here comes Beckham buddy! You make our hearts so happy Jordie Michael! God is good,” Trout wrote, adding that Jordie will be born on June 30, 2024.

The couple made the announcement in April by sharing a heartwarming photoshoot on Instagram. They captioned the post, “Baby brother on deck,” along with the hashtags “#comingsummer,” “#TroutTribe,” and “#thentherewerefour.”
Trout and Cox became high school sweethearts in New Jersey and married in 2017. They welcomed their first child, Beckham, in July 2020.
After graduating from high school, Trout joined the Los Angeles Angels as a first-round pick in the 2009 MLB draft. He didn’t show his talent on the team until he made his debut as a center fielder in 2011.
During his career, Trout has been selected to the MLB All-Star team 11 times, been named the American League Most Valuable Player three times and won the Silver Slugger Award nine times.
