WICHITA COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — The Wichita County Sheriff’s Office has a man in custody after officers surrounded a local heating and air conditioning business owned by a man wanted by police in Wichita Falls.

Wichita County Sheriff’s Office officers responded to a call for an emergency welfare check at Henan Heating and Air Conditioning, located in the 1700 block of FM 367, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, just after 4:30 p.m.
According to Sergeant Charlie Aiper of the Wichita Falls Police Department, the store’s owner, John Hennan, remains at large and is on active arrest warrants for fraud, fraudulent conduct and theft by deception between $2,500 and $30,000.
Henan has been arrested multiple times for promising heating and air conditioning services and knowingly taking money from victims without ever performing the agreed-upon work.
On the morning of Wednesday, July 10, Aiper released information about the case against Henan and asked for the public’s assistance in locating him.
WCSO officers surrounded Henan’s business on FM 367, just outside the Iowa Park city limits in Wichita County, and escorted a man inside outside for medical treatment.
At this time, it has not been confirmed whether the person in custody is Henan.
